Printing Weekly Profit Projections

Once you have entered all of the required information needed to generate a Weekly Profit Projections report, command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.

This report shows the weekly profit projections for the year and week ending date specified in the system. When printed, the report is broken into two sections:

• Sales Rep Gross Margin – The month-to-date sales rep gross margin by Customer Summary Report.
• Weekly Profit Projection Variance Report – The weekly sales rep weekly sales and variance plus month-to-date sales and variance.

The Weekly Profit Projections report displays the following information:

Sales rep and broker section

• Listing of sales reps – This section lists all sales reps defined in the system. It also displays sales reps' current week and month-to-date sales, and gross profit percent/dollars.
• Listing of brokers – This section lists all brokers defined in the system. It also displays the current week and month-to-date sales and gross profit percent/dollars.
• Listing of sales categories – This section will list all sales categories and displays their current week and month-to-date sales and gross profit percent/dollars.
• Listing of all buyer/category managers – This section will list all buyers/category managers and displays their current week and month-to-date sales and gross profit percent/dollars.
• Adjustment – These fields display the current week and month-to-date sales adjustments and gross profit percent\dollars that you have made through the Change command option.
• Total changes – These fields display the total sales and the gross profit percent\dollars for the current week and for the month-to-date.
  

GROSS MARGIN ADJUSTMENT SECTION

• Inventory adjustments – The current week and month to date gross profit percent\dollars for adjustments made to inventory by inventory adjustment type.
• Gross margin/cost of goods adjustments – The total adjustments have been made through the Change command option.
• Total adjustments – The current week and month-to-date gross profit percent\dollars for all gross margin adjustments.
• Gross profit – Total sales less total adjustments.
  

OPERATING EXPENSES SECTION

• Plant The total operating expenses designated as “Plant” (ledger/account) by current week budget, history, actual and by month-to-date budget, history, and actual
• Selling – The total for operating expenses designated as “Selling” (ledger/account) by current week budget, history, actual and by month-to-date budget, history, and actual
• Selling other – The total for operating expenses designated as "Selling Other” (ledger/account) by current week budget, history, actual and by month-to-date budget, history, and actual
• G&A – The total for operating expenses designated as “General & Administrative” (ledger/account).
• Adjustment – The total adjustments that have been made throughout the Change command option.
• Operating expense – The total operating expenses by current week gross profit percent\dollars and month-to-date percent\dollars
• Operating income – The total operating income by current week gross profit percent\dollars and month-to-date percent\dollars.
